> Research Visa

Students going for higher studies in India under M.Phil or Ph.D. courses are required to obtain a Research Visa. Applicants for Research Visa must provide the following:

  • Certificate of Confirmed Admission issued by the concerned educational institution in India
  • Degree/certificate and transcript of marks/GPA obtained in the last qualifying examination, based on which admission was granted
  • Synopsis of their thesis/research subject
  • Details of the places to be visited in India with duration of stay at each place in connection with research work
  • Payment receipt of all University Fees, including Tuition Fee
  • Bank statement of the student/parents for the last six months
  • Valid Passport
  • Recommendation/reference letter, if any

It may be noted that processing of Research Visa applications takes a longer time, as the details are verified with the concerned Indian educational institution in India.
